Residents in Greater Sydney are expected endure another week of stay-at-home orders after news the state’s lockdown will be extended by at least another week.
NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian met with health officials yesterday to determine whether or not NSW, which has been struggling to contain case numbers despite assurances, will remain under lock and key.
While Ms Berejiklian is yet to confirm the news, numerous reports indicate the lockdown will last another week, until at least midnight, Friday July 16.
It is expected the announcement will be made early this morning.
