In case you needed a reason (well, another reason) to shop at Kmart, this is it.
The popular Aussie retailer has just announced its latest home range – and with Sydney currently in lockdown, here’s your excuse to finally complete that living room makeover.
This season’s collection focuses on dining, storage, art, decor and furniture pieces – and it’s even got a 129-piece tool set for $49.
The tools have a high polish chrome finish for anti-corrosion protection and according to Kmart, it’s an “ideal tool kit for most home DIY repairs”.
The announcement of the new home living range has been met with plenty of online excitement.
“Love love love the new range,” one fan commented on the store’s Instagram post revealing the new collection.
“Omggggggg exciting,” said another, while a third wrote: “Ohhh some pretty stuff.”
The new range, which is available to purchase online, has furniture pieces that embrace timber and earthy tones with some of the most impressive items including a $59 rattan-look shelving unit, $79 woven lounge chair and a matching woven side table for just $35.
The retailer has kept true to its affordable offering with the range also including items for as little as $1.50 (recycled cotton placemat), a parquetry bedside table for only $29, and a bamboo garment rack with drawers, for $99.
“We now have an extensive range of bespoke and on-trend furniture within an exclusive online-only extended offer (including bed frames, wardrobes, dressers and more). This allows us to create full home solutions,” the store’s divisional merchandise manager, Meryn Serong told news.com.au
“We want our customers to be able to shop complete room solutions in one spot and the introduction of these furniture items allows them to do so conveniently and affordably.”
Keeping in with the woven theme is a queen bed arch bedhead for $149.
“Woven materials create such a timeless look and we are able to offer these to our customer at exceptionally low prices, Ms Serong said.
