Australia’s hunt for Olympic gold in the pool will continue on Day 7, with Emma McKeon tipped as the favourite for the women’s 100m freestyle title.
The Aussies are also medal contenders in the rowing on Friday morning, with women’s and men’s eight finals taking place after 11am AEST.
Ash Barty and mixed doubles partner John Peers can guarantee themselves gold or silver in their semifinal, which is the second match after play begins at 4pm.
The Kookaburras, Stingers and Opals are also in action on Day 7, while the Matildas will take on Great Britain in a must-win quarter-finals match at 7pm.
And if none of that tickles your fancy, there’s also a mountain of athletics, rugby sevens, BMX racing and boxing to indulge.
